The Sensor is in constant scanning of the area under monitoring and gives input to the Control Panel in case of any unwanted intrusions. How does an Intrusion alarm system work?
A typical system has a control panel, central monitoring station a bunch of sensors or detectors like IR motion sensors, glass break detectors, photoelectric beam detectors, vibration detectors, magnetic contacts, door sensors, smoke detectors, etc., an emergency switch, sounders/ alarms, speech dialer, and an additional keyboard. They usually operate by securing entry points with sensors that signal the control panel or command center installed in the building in case of intrusion.
